MA Humanities Courses

The courses I completed in the MA Humanities program provided me with a rich and interdisciplinary exploration of human thought, culture, and society. I had the opportunity to engage with a wide range of disciplines — from history, philosophy, and literature to science and the arts — which deepened my understanding of the complexities of the human experience. The core courses introduced me to foundational concepts, theories, and methodologies that equipped me with the analytical tools to interpret complex ideas and connect them across disciplines. As I progressed, specialized courses allowed me to explore pivotal historical periods such as the Renaissance and the Enlightenment, while others challenged me to consider contemporary topics like ethics in science, cultural diversity, and global perspectives. Each course pushed me to critically analyze texts, evaluate competing viewpoints, and articulate well-reasoned arguments. My journey culminated in the Capstone project, where I had the opportunity to synthesize everything I had learned, reflect on my academic growth, and showcase my work. These courses not only sharpened my critical thinking, research, and communication skills but also prepared me for thoughtful engagement in both scholarly and professional contexts.
